Vendor Requirements
Whiskey/Bourbon/Breweries/Distillery Vendors
Whiskey/Bourbon/Breweries/Distilleries will be intermixed with all the other vendors and we will try our best to not have two of the same category be side by side.
Submit proof of Liability Insurance & ABC License with application. Each business in this category will be responsible for obtaining a certificate of liability insurance listing the Cheers Festival and the Fredericksburg Convention Center as additionally insured.
Each company is to not serve anyone that appears under the influence or under age. Re-carding of such individuals to reconfirm legal drinking age is the responsibility of the participating distillery/winery staff personnel under ABC regulations. All attendees will be asked to show ID to obtain a wristband and drinking glass prior to entering the event. Distilleries, Cideries, Wineries and breweries may sell by the glass to have onsite and by the bottle(s) (only to take off the premises). You will not be able to sell by the bottles to consume on site due to the ABC Rules with the venue.
Admission Fees for the guests of the event include unlimited tastings. Whiskey/Bourbon/Breweries/Distilleries participating in the event agree to offer free tastings. Guests are not to be charged for extra tastings.
Displays must stay assembled and all products must be available until the closing of the show! Vendors are not to pack up early - if you do so, you will be under review from management of the Cheers Festivals if you are able to participate in future events.
Vendors must comply with the State of Virginia Tax laws - please refer to www.tax.virginia.gov for more details. Collecting and reporting of sales taxes are the responsibility of the vendor. If you need a tax form, we will have available onsite.
Each Winery/Cidery/Distillery will be provided a 10' x 10' /10' x 20' booth space of your choosing complete with 8' backdrop, 2-3' side rails and an ID sign with their application/payment. Distilleries, Wineries and Cideries must provide samples at no charge. You can sell by the glass at the event.
Distilleries - $250 booth - You offer free samples, cocktails (optional) and you sell by the bottle for attendees to take home. Booth comes with a pipe and drape for the space as well as an ID sign!
Handmade / Craft Vendors
All items in the Handmade / Crafter Vendor Category must be original works by the vendor themselves. No manufactured items accepted. Food Vendors that produce their own products are included in this category. Food Vendors are required to obtain the proper permits from the Health Department - 540.899.4142.
Submit one (1) photographs of your merchandise with application and at least a 50% deposit of the booth fee.
Photos may be used in event promotion.
Gift / Buy/ Direct Sale Vendors
Participants in the Buy / Sell / Direct Sale Vendor Category may sell manufactured crafts or resale gifts (non-handmade items).
Commercial Vendors (Limited Availability)
There will be a limited number of Commercial Vendors accepted.
Commercial Vendors include those that offer a service that is not a hand craft. Such are home improvement, Subscription Sign ups, etc.
For All Vendors
All applications will be reviewed before being accepted into the show. All applications require a 50% deposit of the booth fee with completed application. The remaining balance is due on or before September 1st, 2025 and credit card on file will be automatically charged.
Setup is scheduled for Friday, October 31st from 10am - 4pm and Saturday, November 1st from 8am - 10:45am. All Vendors needs to be ready by 10:45am. Show opens at 11am to the General Public and goes until 4pm. There is absolutely no breaking down early. You must man your booth at all times.
SHOW HOURS: 11am - 4pm
Booth displays should be done in a professional manner and be inviting. Flat table top displays do not do well so try to do some elevations. Displays, materials and stored items must stay contained within the booth and may not block the aisles.
Displays must stay assembled and product must be available until the end of the show.
All vendors need to comply with State of Virginia tax laws available online at www.tax.virginia.gov & business owners are responsible for collecting and reporting of taxes. For State Tax filing, the Fredericksburg Convention Center is located in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Tables, chairs & electric are NOT included in your booth space but you can order it from the Fredericksburg Convention Center directly - Exhibitor link will be sent to you at a later time.
If your application is not accepted, you will be notified via email. Your credit card will not be charged.
